Tourist Guide Tandil
Tandil is located in the Buenos Aires province in the eastern part of Argentina. This city with a population of approximately 108,000 inhabitants is spread over a hilly region in the Pampas.
Tandil has a humid climate throughout the year. During winter, the average temperature is 8°C and the occasional frost also occurs while during autumn, the city is often shrouded in fog. The average temperature during summer is 20°C.
Tandil was founded in 1823 and early in its history, the city faced a lot of turmoil as the natives tried to fight against the European settlers.
Eventually, European settlers from Italy, France, Spain and other countries led to a rapid increase in the population. Tandil has been a popular destination for visitors from Buenos Aires and other parts of the country for over a century.
