Reviews Cerro Castor
Cerro Castor
Following the Ruta 3, just 26 kms from Ushuaia we reach the Cerro Castor, which rightfully claims to be the poshest and most exclusive winter resort in Argentina.
Its peculiar location, being one of the southernmost ski resorts on earth, and the extreme care with which every detail is taken care of makes skiing here a unique experience. The slope is constantly mantained and levelled throughout the summer, and artificial snow is provided when necessary on the lower part of the track so that nothing can prevent you from getting the best skiing experience. The different lifts provide a capacity of 5000 people per day, and amongst other facilities you have a ski school, stores renting equipment and a number of restaurants and bars, plus a completely equipped first aid point to tackle any problem that might arise.
