Economy
Bolivia is the poorest country in South America. Most of the country is under-developed and poverty is widespread, especially among the rural and mining populations. Its economy is heavily dependent on agriculture and the exploitation of its mineral resources.

The daily budget for a tourist in Bolivia can range between 200 B$ and 400 B$. The best places for a cheap meal and accommodation is between the Prado and Calle Manco Capac.
