The Dona Beja Museum is situated in City Center within a two-storey 19th century house. It is named after Ana Jacinta de Sao Jose, which is a mythological figure. In this museum, one can find clothing, historical documents, canvas of renowned Brazilian and local artists, objects and sacred images of the 19th century and almost 300 pieces of furniture. It is said that Ana lived in this house during her lifetime.
