Praça dos Três Poderes houses some of most significance buildings
of Oscar Niemeyer handiworks - Palácio do Planalto (base of the Republic
President), Congresso Nacional (Câmara dos Deputados and Senado Federal),
and Supremo Tribunal Federal. Over there are located Museu da Cidade, Panteão
da Pátria, and Espaço Lúcio Costa and three sculptures
- Pombal (Niemeyer), A Justiça (Alfredo Ceschiatti) and Os Candangos
(Bruno Giorgi).
Ministério da Justiça and Palácio do Itamaraty
(Ministério das Relações Exteriores) are located near and
make part of Esplanada dos Ministérios. It is possible to visit inside
the buildings at predetermined times.
