Iracema Beach is one of the most popular beaches of the Fortaleza city. The Iracema district where the beach is situated has been named after an Indian female named Iracema who has become a part of Ceará’s history. The beach is home to a number of well-known nightclubs, bars and restaurants. The pier known as "Ponte dos Ingleses" is wonderful spot to watch the beautiful sunset. Estoril is a famous restaurant located at the beach and it is situated in a historic building.
