Parque Ecológico do Coco is a large urban park and a conservation area situated in the city of Fortaleza, Brazil. The park derives its name from the name of a river known as Coco River and holds an honor of being designated as a state park and constitutes a vast protected area.
The Parque Ecológico do Coco is classified into two different areas for jogging, walking and leisure; Tancredo Neves urban area and Adahil Barreto’s Park which is a centre for environmental awareness, promotes artistic and cultural events as well as environmental education. This part of the park consists of jogging track, ecological trail and train.
The Ecological park of Coco contains an amphitheatre, walking path, sports field, and playgrounds, shows and sports competition. It’s a perfect destination for revitalization and enjoyment with family and friends as well as for the get-together and picnic.
