At a distance of 7,63 miles from Guarulhos, one can reach the Parque do Ibirapuera. This is spread over an area of two million meters and is the Central Park of Sao Paulo. It was designed by the renowned architect Oscar Niemeyer along with landscape designer Burle Marx. This park was inaugurated in 1954 to celebrate the fourth birthday of the city. Admission is completely free of charge.
