At a distance of 32 kilometers from Nova Iguacu, one can reach the Cathedral of Rio de Janeiro. The present church was constructed in 1979. The Cathedral is dedicated to St. Sebastian, Rio de Janeiro patrons. It is the seat of the Cardinal Archbishop. One can view four vitrazova windows that are 64 meters high.
