At 2230 feet, Corcovado Mountain is magnificent for panoramic view of the city of Rio de Janeiro and also for its attraction, the Christ Redeemer statue with outstretched arms, standing 100 feet high. This statue is best known icon and also a tourist landmark owing to its worldwide popularity. The statue is also named as one of the new Seven Wonders of the World in 2007.
