Ipanema Beach offers bright sunshine, fresh unpolluted blue water and lots and lots of fun. The weather is dry and warm so it is advisable to use light weight natural fibre clothes; T-shirts, cargo shorts, Bermudas and bikinis for the day and jeans, chinos or khakis for evenings.
Sunglasses, high sun blocks, hats, sunscreen lotions and other sun protection products are a must and should be included in the packing list.
The open area surrounding the beach is a zone for mosquitoes and thus it is advisable to carry mosquito repellent.
Fluctuation in the electricity supply is very common around Ipanema beach so it is imperative to include a battery powered torch.
The most important item to be included in the packing list is the adapter for electric appliances, especially for tourists from Europe.
Cameras and handy cams should be used to capture the most enjoyable moments of life when visiting Ipanema Beach.
