What can you go dance at night in Brazil if not Samba?
Rio de Jainero is the place to be offering a multitude of venues and bars with live or dj set music that will make you move to the most famous brazilian beat. During weekends and holidays you may see spontaneous rodas de samba, or groups of musicians at the botequins (street bars) that will liven up the atmosphere, try not to miss them.
The night starts late and it often goes to the early mornings. If you have a chance to watch a show outdoors, do not miss it. Scenic settings like Ipanema beach become the stage for events promoted by the city throughout the year. Attractions could be anything from a Polish Folk Dance group, to virtuoso Milton Nascimento, to a selection of Afro groups from Bahia!!
