The Praça da Sé Church was built in 1553 and was a fort during the Flemish attack held in siglo XVII. By 1933, due to a tram crash, the site got demolished. In 1999, it was renovated and the cross fall known as the Cruz Caida, a feature monument was built. At present, one can visit this place to see the beautiful view and even concerts which are held here. Other than that, this is a historic site and millions of tourists from across the world visit this place on their tour to Salvador. Moreover, there are guided tours which help the tourists to know the place significance and its historic background too.
