The best time to go to Salvador can be on the months from April through June to see the rain and the Carnaval which is active in the city. However, during the event the prices of the hotels reach at its peak, so one has to book in advance. To get sunshine, one can visit the city during the summer months of October to March. Basically, the city has all year round destination so one can visit any time of the year.
