The well known Museu Paulista is a museum situated in the Brazilian city of São Paulo. It is a museum of the São Paulo University.
It is remarkable for its architectural style and remains one of most frequented
destinations of the state capital. The museum displays a large collection of furniture, artworks and other object of historical significance, particularly the ones relating to the independence of the country.
One of the notable works displayed is a famous painting by the renowned artist Pedro Americo.
