Paraiso is a municipality situated in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Spread in a total area of 155.76 square kilometers, as of 2004, its census population was 5,786 inhabitants.
This prime district belongs to the borough and district of Vila Mariana and is worth visiting. Some of the worth visiting and interesting sights in Paraiso are the Cathedral of Our Lady of Paradise, the Orthodox Metropolitan Cathedral and some of the neighborhood parks.
