One has to go to eateries where locals eat. Restaurants in Ipanema & Leblon are very expensive. Those are trendy neighborhoods where tourists & Brazilian celebrities hang out or show off. So, restaurants there tend to be extremely expensive & fancy, having an international flavor. Porcao (Big Pig literally,but not necessarily a place to eat pork) in Copacabana sells churrasco (Brazilian BBQ) & other specialties by the kilo, the décor is gr8 and it's not that expensive. Small botecos ou bars usually on side streets leading to Copacabana beach, have caipirinha & other drinks & national fruit juices, as well as rice/beans, or tutu a mineira or paulista (black or brwn beans w/ manioc flour onions or garlic Sao Paulo State or Minas Gerais State style), collard green, beef steak, fish, or chicken...

Armação dos Búzios frequently known by the locals as just Búzios, is a holiday destination and a metropolis positioned in the district of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
