Located in the downtown of Chillan, the cathedral is a masterpiece by Hernán Larraín Errázuriz. It is shaped as a dome and has a 36 meters cross. The mosaic in front of the church is the handiwork of the artist Alejandro Rubio. It portrays the stages in Jesus’s life.
