Close to Pucon, in the Andes, the Villarrica National Park is located. The forests in this park offer habitat for wildlife like the rare Monitos del Monte, Molina’s Hog-nosed Skunks, Lesser Grisons, Harris’s Hawks, Coypus, Pudues, Chilla and Culpeo Foxes and the Cougars. At higher elevations, Araucarias can be seen in the forests. At lower elevations, the Rauli and Roble species are found.
