Chile is a country of many contrasts. Nearly all landscapes of the world can be found on that 4000 km long and 290 km wide country. It seems as if somebody put all left over pieces together and set it on the very south end of the South American Continent. Further in the south, you will be impressed by the green and thick forests, snow capped volcanoes, blue lakes, waterfalls and wild rivers. All kind of outside activities can be done in Chile. There are fantastic World Class ski areas, national parks for hiking, mountaineering, trekking, rivers for rafting and kayaking and much more. In addition to all of that, you can do wonderful expeditions to the ice world of Antarctica or visit tropical Easter Island the most isolated island of the world.
