Cerro San Cristobal
Cerro San Cristobal is located in Santiago, Chile. It is a beautiful hill to be visited. It is 880 m in height. It is the second highest peak in the city of Santiago and was originally named as Tupahue by the Spanish conquistadors for St Christopher, in recognition of its use as a landmark.
On the peak, a church with an amphitheatre was built. A 22 meter statue of Blessed Virgin Mary is also built which was donated by France in the 1920s. The main attraction for this hill sation is the Metropolitan Zoo, A Japanese-style garden and two municipal pools named Tupahue and Antilen are also worth visitng. It is the largest public park and entertaining for all age groups.
