Parque Forestal is a slender manicured park which was landscaped in 1900 and had rows of imported and native skirts of trees. One can find winding path which takes them past many attractions and is a pleasant one hour stroll on Sundays. This park borders the River of Mapocho bisecting the city in east westerly direction. At the park, one can get to see monuments and sculptures too.
