Teatro Municipal is located in the city of Santiago, Chile. It is considered as one of the greatest landmarks of the city. It is modeled on the famous Paris Opéra.
The entrance lobby of the theater features doors of crystal glass. The beautiful staircase is made up of the Carrara marble. The curtain and the foyer’s ceiling are adorned with beautiful paintings by Eliseu Visconti. It also features some other painting by the artist Rodolfo Amoedo.
Another notable attribute is the spectacular tile-clad Assyrian Hall situated on the lower floor. The theater has hosted performances from some of the most eminent national and international performers.
