The Playa Negra – Concon is a fair sized beach in Vina del Mar past the Higuerilla Cove where one can find moderate waves. This area is given this name as the dark-colored sands are rich in volcanic minerals and fine in texture. Although, this beach is slightly at a distance from Vina del Mar it is easily accessible due to good public transport connections. This beach is a good place to visit along with a family.
