Bogotà holds its door open for travelers to dive in the richness of Colombian culture and life. You can enjoy by day the most popular attractions at La Candelaria district, including the Gold Museum or the Presidential Palace. Then, as the sun is setting, the Zona Rosa district comes alive with locals and visitors heading for venues of fun, dining, drinking and more!

As for accomodation the city offers various choices; a good one is the Chapinorte Hostel, just 5 blocks away from the Zona Rosa. The place offers good rates for rooms, free internet, kitchens for guest use and a very good service for airport pickup for free.

The best place for shopping is between Carrera 11 and 15 and from Calle 85 to 81: there are local shops and international ones too and malls such as Centro Comercial Andino or El Retiro or still Atlantis Plaza; you'll find free internet in various malls, ATMs and also a good offer for affordable restaurants and bars, for quick lunches.

Many supermarkets offer delikatessen good and cheap to take away while for your nights in Zona Rosa there are not so pricey venues for dining out, drinking and dancing!
