Cartagena is a large seaport located in the north coast of Colombia. Formally known as Cartagena de Indias , has a population of 1.080.000 of inhabitants.
The city is divided into two part: the Old city (Ciudad Antigua) and the New city (Ciudad Nueva). To the South is the “Bahia de Cartagena” which has two entrances: Bocachica and Bocagrande.
Cartagena is the most popular tourist resort city in Colombia. The city was founded in 1533 by Don Pedro de Heredia, and today is a popular tourist destination.
