Plaza Bolivar houses statue of ‘Simon Bolivar’ that had been sculpted in the year 1846 by none other than Pietro Tenerani of Italian origin. It is credited for being the 1st ever ‘public monument’ all over Bogota. Palace of Justice is located on this square’s northern side; from where Supreme Court happens to work.
