The Museo de Arte Moderno de Medellin comprises of about 1,400 pieces of art. This is inclusive of the sculptures of Hernando Tejada and the works of the painter Debora Arango. This museum places an emphasis on local Colombian talent and in this way exhibits the quality of art the country produces. Due to such a local outlook, it has become the joy and pride of the Medellin artists.
