Tourist Guide Soacha
On the southern periphery of Bogota, the capital of Colombia, is located Soacha which is a municipality and city. In this city, mostly working class families live and it has an important industrial zone. Soacha is a geographical concentration point that is nearest to Bogota for people to migrate into this region from the Southern and Central regions of the country. So, the culture of this place is very diverse and affected by people coming from departments like Caldas, Risaralda, Quindio, Tolima, Huila, Caqueta and Putumayo. In the period from 1995 to 1998, almost 25,800 internally displaced individuals moved to Soacha.
Soacha has a population of 398,295 as per the 2005 census. It is the most populous suburb of Bogota.
Soacha experiences an average maximum temperature of around 67 degrees Fahrenheit and an average minimum temperature of around 45 degrees Fahrenheit. In any month, on an average there are 8 to 10 rainy days.
