San Antonio De Padua is a Church whose history dates back to 1569. In this year, the preachers of Santo Domingo (Dominician) arrived in this place and settled. These Dominician people started their mission and built a small temple where they can administer sacraments and celebrate misa. In 1597, the Party of Tierradentro took place which had a captain named Antonio Moreno and he porqueras of San Antonio de Padua was established in Soledad.
