The public library Rafael Carrillo Luquez was established on 8th May 2002 with the main motive of contributing to cultural, educational and social development of the community. The initial collection was of 12,000 volumes pertaining to several regions of human knowledge. There is one lecture room that has a seating capacity of a hundred people. Here there are open shelves and open access for users to collections.
