Horse riding around Quito

Hi, I've ridden with Ride Andes, and although they aren't cheap, the routes, tours and picnics are amazing. It's probably easier to get a few friends together, preferably with some riding experience, so that you can get the most out of it.

These aren't old nags that follow the same hour-long circuit every day. Sally has tours organised for most of the year - apart from in the raining season. So you can join one of those rides or arrange your own private few days riding.

She's been riding in Ecuador for over 10 years and knows all the locals, best places to stay and the little travelled routes over the volcanoes and valleys only a couple of hours to the North, East and South of Quito. If you like horse riding you will not regret spending money on one of Sally's tours.

I didn't find anyone else in the area who could come close to providing well fed and cared for and well schooled horses around Quito.
