For an uncontrollable burst of adrenaline in Peru, look no further than Action Valley. Located just a little more than ten kilometers outside of Cuzco, Action Valley attracts thrill seekers from all over the world. The official Action Valley adventure park offers an excess of venturesome sporting activities, including bungee jumping, tower swinging, and a 300 meter zip-line.
The park also boasts the world's highest human sling shot, where participants are strapped into a harness, then catapulted to ridiculous heights before releasing the rest of their momentum in a giant swinging pendulum motion. Visitors may also want to try the famous Paratrike, which is essentially a fan-powered tricycle attached to a big sail. As you can steer the vehicle, the Paratrike offers the experience of paragliding without the need to attach to a boat.
The staff at Action Valley does not believe in the practice of tandem bungee jumps, as it can prove to be risky from 122 meters. They also believe that these extreme experiences are more enjoyable when done alone. The activities at Action Valley are reasonably priced, and the park is accessible by public transportation. Empty your pockets thoroughly and get ready to scream!
