There are several great places for shopping in Cuzco, Peru. In fact, one can easily just go for a stroll and find outstanding stores and shops to buy clothes and souvenirs. However, you will definitely want to nail down the locations and convenience of the major shopping centers.

The first one to check out is Centro Artesaenal, where you can discover unique clothes, blankets, hats and other apparel at reasonable prices. For these types of things, you should also go to the craft market in Pisaq, where you can discover goods and upholstery made from alpaca fur!

El Molino is Cuzco's black market that's tolerated by the authorities. Here you can find knock-off goods, clothing, and electronics at substantially cheaper prices. Upon your arrival here, be sure to hang on to your wallet, as there are sure to be pickpockets about. Also, don't try to bargain with these people too much, as the prices are already dirt cheap and the vendors wont appreciate it.

For fresh produce and authentic Peruvian eats, head to Mercado Central, near San Pedro. You are also able to get a great meal at one of the several food carts in the area for little more than one dollar. Again, be aware of pickpockets.

Mercado Molino is the place to go for anything that you wouldn't buy as a tourist. It offers life's essentials, including things such as plates, undergarments, shoes, electronics, backpacks, and belts.

Whatever you are looking for, you are sure to find it at one of these shopping centers in Cuzco!
