Belen is better known as ‘Venice of Peru’. This floating town stands on edge of Iquitos. It’s one amongst the main tourist attractions all over Peru. It exists in the form of a settlement along shores of Amazon River; which remains covered with water for majority portion of the year. This place is truly unique as people have constructed homes on rafts which have been tied together to prevent floating away in Amazon.
