The Café del Museo is located in Pueblo Libre, and is part of the fabulous Larco Museum, which presents the best collection of pre-Columbian art in Lima.
The Café is surrounded by lovely gardens, which won the prize of the best gardens in Lima in 2009.
The Café del Museo was designed by the great architect Jordi Puig and truly looks like a piece of art itself. It has a really peaceful and quiet atmosphere due to the harmony created by the confrontation with nature; it is then one of the few places in Lima where you feel like in the countryside, away from the city noises and stress.
The menu is very complete and offers both Peruvian and international choices. It has a wide range of diet choice as well and a children menu including burgers and pasta.
The café del Museo is also very well respected for its cocktail and wine lists, including the famous pisco sour, or passion fruit sour.
The café is very well located and not expensive at all, you can eat there for approximately $20 with starter, main course, desert and drinks.
