5/27/2009 12:19:00 PM I just had the chance to visit this incredible museum and I must admit that it is one of the best i have ever seen. The mansion is incredibly beautiful and the collection is amazing. I learnt a lot about all the pre-Columbian civilizations (although we tend to just know about the Incas) throught their crafts (textiles, ceramics, jewelry...). It was explained in a clear and interesting way. I particularly enjoyed the deposit full of thousands and thousands of huacos. |

11/30/2009 4:16:00 PM The Larco Museum was a wonderful experience, I recommend it as the first thing to do when you arrive in Perú, to have a great overview of all Pre-Columbian civilizations which lived there! Then you will have full knowledge of North, South and Central areas... And of course, how could you miss the erotic galery? Well, nothing to add to this jewel, neither the great environment! |
