During a fascinating adventure trip along the Incas ancient trails on the Machu Picchu, you can enjoy both the culture and the lush nature the site displays!
You might start from your campsite and up on km 104; following the way up you will come to an amazing viewing point on the Machu Picchu, after approximately a 6 hour trek. There you'll observe the impressive landscapes, flora, fauna and the Chachabamba archaeological site. At that point you'll have a spectacular view of the Sanctuary Gate.
This site is part of the massive archaeological complex of Machu Picchu. It includes Incas sites such as the Winaywana (Forever Young) site, located in a wide valley where there's a chain of ceremonial baths and an elegantly curved, convex platform.
All around a lush nature to cherish, the rain forest with giant ferns and flora diversity. Through a door called Inti Punku (Door of the Sun) the view shifts to the majestic twisting gorge of forested peaks. You'll get there after a walk up on the mountainside.
