Durazno is home to several popular attractions and beaches. On Yi River is the Camping ‘33 Eastern Ones’ which is a popular natural space ideal for camping activities. This area provides tourists basic necessities like electricity, water, firewood, dishes and other services. The area also has a library, an electronic games hall and a sector of aquatic attractions.
Beach ‘the Sauzal’, situated close to this beautiful camping site, is another popular attraction. The beach, characterized by white, fine sand, attracts a large number of swimmers every year. Some of the other popular attractions include the Park of the Spanishness, Seat of the Calls and the Monument of the Calls.
Some of the other interesting places include the MicroCentro de Durazno, Plaza Sarandi and Chapel of Farruco and Aldama. The city hosts a number of annual events and festivals such as the Festival of Rock, National Festival of Folklore and First Calls of the Interior.
