La Paloma: Attractions and more...
Small and charming, La Paloma is a resort town offering plenty of opportunities for quiet walks on the beach. Sunsets at La Paloma are exotic and enchanting. With miles of virgin beaches in La Paloma, you can swim, surf, sail, fish and experience the remote beauty of nature.
At the center of La Paloma is a lighthouse that was constructed in 1874 due to the frequent shipwrecks that occurred along its rocky coast. Declared as a national historic monument in 1976, Cabo Santa Maria is worth a visit.
The city also boasts of a fine pine tree forest. Biking and horseback riding are popular activities. La Paloma has little shops and boutiques that offer handicrafts which are ideal for souvenirs.
