Salto is a pretty town with many attractions for tourists within the city as well as outside it. One of the main attractions is the Salto Grande Dam. At the northeast end of town, Parque Solari is also well worth a visit.
Culture and art is prominent in Salto city. The two main theatres host plays and related activities on a regular basis.
The lush green open areas and Salto’s appealing parks and squares, surrounded by trees and mesmerising monuments, offer a glimpse into the rich cultural and scenic charm of the city.
Home to more than 150 species of wildlife, the zoo at Salto is also an interesting place to visit. Outside Salto city, are a number of hot springs, particularly Fuente Salto and Termas del Dayman which are as refreshing as they are exciting.
