The rain forests and the tepuis in the region attract nature and adventure lovers alike, who wish to explore these unspoilt natural habitats. The Casiquiare Canal is one of the greatest natural wonders of the world. This waterway links the rivers Amazon and Orinoco. Similarly, the Yutaje Falls is a must-visit. This waterfall surrounded by lush green forests is the second largest in Venezuela. The forest is home to a wide variety of wildlife as well.

The Seat of Bolivar is an important site from administrative point of view as it houses some of the important government buildings of the city. In the same locality lies the Cathedral Helping Maria which is a sixteenth-century building. This cathedral is famous for its fresco of the Crucified Christ done by a famous Spanish painter Rafael Ochoa.

Besides these there are several other attractions in the city like the Etnológico Museum, Blue Well, etc. that makes it an excellent tourist destination.
