Public bus in Caracas is a good way to travel as you can a catch a bus from any location. Once on the bus, you can ask the bus driver to stop where ever you want to get off.

A very clean and modern subway is also available which covers extensive distances. Buses are a fast means of transport because there are many buses and waiting time between buses is not very long.

Taxis are also easily available and are of two kinds, those owned by taxi companies like the Taxi Movil Enlace or the Tele Taxi and those driven by locals having permission to drive a taxi.

There are also private taxis driven by people who do not have a taxi licence. These are not recommended as, although it could be cheap, it is not legal.

Motorcycles also work as a registered taxi for a single passenger. You need to wear the helmet provided and sit behind the driver who will drop you at your destination.
