Reviews Arco de la Federation
Arco de la Federation
Arco de la Federation was built in 1895 by then President Joaquin Crespo. It is in fact the part of Paseo El Calvario which was built in the eighteenth century by President Guzman Blanco on the hill of Calvario.
Arco de la Federation is said to be an elegant and magnificent monument which stands tall against the deep blue sky and the powerful green area of the park at Paseo El Calvario.
The word FEDERATION is being carved above the arch so that it is visible to all. This particular arch was built in Memory of the Soldiers who were the part of Federal War which took place for 4 years from 1859 to 1863.
