Reviews Centro Comercial Plaza Las Americas
Centro Comercial Plaza Las Americas
The mall is located on the Boulevard de El Cafetal and is divided into two main blocks. The first, opened by Jaime Laurel in 1973 and called Vam has four levels of stores where the visitor can find cafes, different shops, jewelries, banks, movie theaters and fast food, and has a parking areas for approximately 1800 vehicles. The second block, recently opened, has three levels whose halls open onto a central area at ground level, where there is a space for the enjoyment of children and where there are restaurants and cafes in a friendly atmosphere. The new parking area also may receive a few hundred vehicles.
As is usual, malls attract locals looking for international brands and services rather than tourists seekeing local flavour. But to head to the movies and spend time with modern Caracas - this might just be the best place to check out!
