Snorkelling, fishing and windsurfing are the most common water activities carried out in Los Roques. Tourists travel from Caracas and the mainland to experience the beauty and serenity of ‘the world below the waters’.
The National Park of the Los Roques Archipelago is situated in the Caribbean Sea, approximately 185 km north of Caracas. One of the largest national marine parks in the Caribbean, this park includes especial fauna and flora; white sand beaches; and placid, turquoise-blue water.
Most of the restaurants and posadas in Los Roques specialize in seafood. The food is prepared using a sinful combination of different styles and cuisines from around the world to ensure a sumptuous meal and a delighted customer.
At nights, Los Roques is mostly peaceful. The Acuarena Bar situated on the beach and Natura Viva Bar located on the roof of a posada are interesting hangouts.
