Puerto La Cruz, with its unique location and beautiful sites, is a haven for its visitors. The city boasts a large number of attractions and opportunities that bring in tourists from all over the globe. Puerto La Cruz is one of the biggest resorts in the entire country.
One of the most popular attractions here is Mochima, which is a small national park. The park is home to a number of small islands with white, sandy beaches, the most popular one being the Vallecito Beach which is lined by a number of palm trees.
While vacationing in the city, make sure to visit Santa Fe, which is a small town located atop a mountain. The town offers spectacular views of the entire city and the beaches. Also, ensure that you sample some of the famous empanadas, a popular local dish.
Carnival is the most widely celebrated festival in Puerto La Cruz. Festival of the Virgin of the Valley is also celebrated.
