The city of San Fernando is located in the Apure state of Venezuela. It has a population of 175,056 people.
San Fernando enjoys a tropical climate. The average annual temperature ranges between 22°C and 30°C. Thus, it is fairly warm and humid throughout the year. The city was founded in 1788 by Don Fernando de Miyares González around the River Apure.
