Overall Guide : Cordoba is a prime tourist destination because of its alluring scenic beauty, culture and history. In this delightful city, it is possible to stay in touch with nature, yet enjoy the conveniences of a big city. There is also a... more vibrant night life with many discotheques and clubs that play some of the latest music. There are many opportunities for adventure sports such as quad excursions, mountain biking and paragliding. The city has a number of historically significant buildings and monuments that bear testimony to its rich heritage. Some of the popular monuments include the San Martin Square, the Jesuit Cathedral, the Chapter House and Trejo’s House.   Cordoba is also famous for its many lively festivals that are held every year between the months of February and September. These festivals are celebrated with great pomp and splendour and involve much singing and dancing. The most popular festivals are the Carnival, Friend Day and Spring Day.
