Adventure Trip in Ushuaia
Nature and Sport in Ushuaia : Adventure Trip
Travelling to Tierra del Fuego, the southernmost territory in the world, is a beautiful and transcendental adventure. A visit to Tierra del Fuego, Ushuaia and its unique surroundings means the possibility of practicing different sports such as trekking, horse-riding, 4x4 overlanding, as well as diving, canoeing, fishing or skiing.
For those who love walking, Tierra del Fuego National Park offers half-day excursions, which combine trekking in the forests and climbing to strategic points from where the best views of the Beagle Channel and its bays can be captured.
Going through almost inaccessible roads or venturing to places where roads do not even exist is the proposal of these excursions, definitely a different way of getting in full contact with nature! You can also find some non-conventional excursions. The best one is to Martial Glacier, which is located in a hotel area and is the most important drinking water source in Ushuaia.
During winter, that area is the alpine skiing center while in summer it is an excellent place to make short trekking outings (one afternoon or one day) walking on ice and admiring the incredible Andorra Valley, which is located north of the city, parallel to the Channel, behind the mountain range that surrounds it. Enjoy fully your trip at The End of the World!
